LEAN methods as a sustainability tool at Sadales tīkls AS
Armands Staltmanis has dedicated 21 years of his professional life to the energy sector by working at Latvenergo Group – Latvia’s largest power supply company. In 2006, he obtained a master’s degree in engineering (Energy and Electronics) from Riga Technical University, and the logical next step was technical work in various services of distribution system operator – power dispatching, research and development, as well as operation and network management. Since 2009, he has been the head of four different entities overseeing both operations function, process control division and, at present, network management function at Sadales tīkls AS. In order to enrich his professional experience with new knowledge, in 2023 he graduated from BA School of Business and Finance with a professional master’s degree in business administration and professional qualification of business administrator. His Master Thesis studied how to increase work efficiency in energy infrastructure service companies with a particular focus on LEAN methodology, which has contributed and will continue contributing to more efficient management of Sadales tīkls AS.
